On meeting internet friends

The nature of the internet is such that someone can talk to someone else that may be so far apart geologically, that it may seem impossible to ever meet them face to face. Others are more or less around the corner and can be met with just a little bit of planning. Recently, I was able to meet with both of these types of people and spend a day (or three) traveling around and experiencing them experience things for the first time. I admit that I am fairly sentimental and experiences like that hold a dear place in my heart. It’s special to me to be in those moments and I’m thankful it worked out cosmically for it to happen.
